Half bonded again magnesia chrome bricks are refractory products which are sintered by raw material of part fused magnesia chrome sand. The main mineral of half bonded again magnesia chrome bricks are periclase, spinel and a small amount of silicate. Particles are the structure of emulsion texture, the spinel in periclase is fully developed and the matrix part is the structure of account solution. The combination between crystal is periclase with periclase or periclase with spinel, and silicate phase was isolated in the presence of grain.
1. Manufacturing process
Half bonded again magnesia chrome bricks are made through conventional process, and taking fused magnesia chrome material as the particle, adding some chrome ore and magnesia sand or sintered synthesis magnesium chromium as the fine power. Fused magnesia chrome material should melt in weak oxidizing atmosphere and there should be no more reduction phase in the database; Magnesia sand and chrome ore as fine powder must grind and fineness should be less than 0.088mm accounted for more than 95%; High tonnage press machine is used to for molding, and brick density should be greater than 3.2g / cm3. The moisture content is less than 1% after drying the adobe. Products are fired in the tunnel kiln, the firing temperature is above 1750 ℃, and the internal of kiln maintains a weak oxidation atmosphere.
2. Characteristics and Applications
With dense structure, low porosity, high temperature strength, good thermal shock resistance and strong slag corrosion resistance, half bonded again magnesia chrome bricks can be used in vulnerable parts of steelmaking furnace, DH, RH vacuum degassing device, smelting furnace tuyere, cement rotary kiln and regenerator chamber of glass furnace.
